Powerhouse Probiotics

As fall approaches and we get back into the swing of school and sports schedules, we’re bound to forget what it means to take time out for health. As such, we’ve decided to do a little reiteration on the importance of probiotics for health and wellness. In order to keep the information fresh, we’ve compiled some recommendations from health professionals and other probiotic experts.

As you know, Probiotics are called "friendly" bacteria. These little health powerhouses are naturally present in the digestive tract and vaginal area in women. Probiotics are microbial organisms that are considered beneficial to the body. People are consuming these little beneficial bacteria for many reasons; including but not limited to the fact that they are considered to promote overall health, they are known to suppress the growth of harmful bacteria that hinders immune function. And they enhance the protective barrier found in the digestive tract, and finally, they are known to produce Vitamin K in the body!
Probiotics and natural vitamins, along with other dietary supplements and herbal therapeutics offered by some of the top nutritional companies can be found online. This makes living a healthier life very convenient and easy. These supplements also contain important nutritional cofactors and mircronutrients that are missing from isolated vitamin formulas that have been man made in a chemical laboratory somewhere. Because whole food vitamin supplements are made from whole food, the body recognizes them as food so they are absorbed and utilized better by the body.
It is possible to add probiotic supplements to your diet via a capsule, in a liquid, in a tablet, or in powder form depending upon your personal preference. Probiotic supplements can be found in health food stores, grocery stores, and of course online (our preferred method). However, we must inform you that If you would rather eat your probiotics, you will find them in cultured dairy products like yogurt. Do be careful however, because the quantity of content in probiotics tend to differ from brand to brand.

This is wonderful! Thank you for the info here especially as back to school starts! We give our children the Vidazorb kids chewable probiotics and we love them so much! They have been the one and only thing to help our son with his severe food sensitivities and Eczema. They have been an answer to prayer for our family ~ we love them! Thanks for educating others of these benefits :)
